JEBAV operates a fully open-access model under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing readers free access to all articles without restrictions on downloading, printing, or distributing them for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. This policy supports the widespread dissemination of knowledge and increases citation of our articles among global academics.

Focus and Scope

This journal focuses on empirical and theoretical research in the fields of Economics (Macro-Micro), Business Management (Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources), and Accounting (Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Management and Behavioral Sciences, and the Public Sector). We welcome original articles with quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methodologies relevant to the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context, including contemporary issues such as business digitalization, sustainability, and fintech.

Copyright and License

Authors retain full copyright of their work, with permission to publish under CC BY 4.0, which allows free reuse as long as attribution is given to the author and the journal. There are no publication charges (APCs) for authors, making JEBAV accessible to researchers from all economic backgrounds.

JEBAV is fully funded by Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, Surabaya, through the Institute for Research and Community Service (PPPM), with no external commercial sponsorship, ensuring editorial independence and avoiding conflicts of interest. All publication decisions are made on scientific merit by a double-blind editorial board and reviewers.

Journal History

Founded in 1999, JEBAV was under the STIE Perbanas Surabaya institution. Currently, JEBAV has published more than 500 quality articles with a quarterly publication frequency (4 editions per year). This journal has been SINTA 2 accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia since 2018, and is indexed by DOAJ, Google Scholar, and Garuda Portal.

The personal data of authors, reviewers, and readers (such as name, email address, and affiliation) is used solely for the journal's editorial, distribution, and communication purposes, in accordance with the Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law. We do not share this information with third parties without explicit consent.

Archiving and Preservation

JEBAV participates in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving systems to ensure the long-term digital preservation of the journal, and is archived in the e-journals of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University and Garuda University (Kemdikbudristek). This ensures content accessibility even if the primary site is unavailable.
