KEDAYMAS is presently executing a system upgrade of OJS to version 3.5, which entails modifications to the interface and the manuscript management workflow for authors; the subsequent instructions are provided for authors using OJS 3.5 to facilitate the submission and management of articles.
Instructions for Authors in OJS 3.5
During the registration and manuscript submission process in OJS 3.5, each author is required to provide a correct and active email address. It is essential that the email used is either a personal or professional account that is regularly accessed, as a valid email address is necessary for the ORCID iD confirmation process, which will be automatically displayed in the author metadata. The journal system will dispatch an ORCID confirmation link to the registered email address; therefore, the author must have access to that email to complete the verification process.
ORCID iD Confirmation
Authors are encouraged to possess and utilize a valid ORCID iD. They should examine their email after submission to locate the ORCID confirmation email sent by the journal system and follow the confirmation link provided until the verification process is finalized. A verified ORCID iD will be automatically displayed on the article page and author profile, thereby enhancing the author’s academic identity and assisting in indexing.
Author Short Biography
To expedite and facilitate the publication process, each author is required to provide a concise biography during manuscript submission, which should include their full name and institutional affiliation (such as institution, faculty, or department), area of expertise or primary field of research, and any other pertinent brief information, such as academic position or research experience. This brief biography will be utilized and displayed on the published article page, enabling readers to learn about the author’s identity and expertise.
Summary of Author Obligations
Adherence to the aforementioned instructions will facilitate the expediting of the editorial and publication procedures, while also ensuring that author information is presented in a comprehensive and precise manner within the journal.
